Export guide — Reolink

Pull a day of footage off your Reolink recorder

Reolink NVRs export from the playback screen; the desktop app works great too. You'll need a USB stick (32 GB or larger). When you're done, head back to the upload steps.

01

Plug your USB stick into the recorder

Use a spare USB port on the NVR.

02

Open playback and select the day

Right-click → Playback, pick the camera covering your sales floor, and choose the date.

03

Select the time range and download

Use the clip/download (scissors) icon, set start/end to your opening hours, and choose Download/Backup to the USB stick, MP4 format.

04

Wait for the export to finish

A full day takes a while — leave it running and pull the stick when the bar completes.

Reolink cameras without an NVR (SD-card cameras): open the Reolink app → Playback → download clips — or email us, we'll walk you through it.

Using a computer instead? The free Reolink Client on a computer is even easier: Playback → pick camera & date → select the range → Download. Files land as MP4.
