Pull a week of footage off your Lorex recorder
Lorex recorders share their menus with a couple of underlying manufacturers, so yours will match one of these paths. You'll need a USB stick (64 GB or larger). When you're done, head back to the upload steps.
The steps
- Plug your USB stick into the recorder
Use a free USB port on the recorder (unplug the mouse temporarily if both ports are taken, plug it back after). - Open the backup menu
Right-click then Main Menu then Video then Backup (on some models it's directly Backup on the main menu). - Choose camera, day, and hours
Pick the channel showing your main sales floor, set the date and your open-to-close hours. - Export as MP4
Choose MP4 as the file type where offered, select the USB stick, and start the backup. A full day takes a while, leave it running.
Multiple file chunks? Recorders often split a day into many files, totally fine. Send the whole folder via Smash (the free upload tool, see the upload steps).
Using a computer instead? The Lorex Client / Lorex Cloud desktop apps can do it too: Playback then select camera & time range then Download.
